Kia ora, my name is Lynne and I am one of your hosts at The English Oak Bed & Breakfast. My daughter Amy and I first fell in love with this 1920’s character home in October 2009, convincing our husbands, Alasdair & Paul, that we really must have this house. In early 2010 we became the proud owners and renovated the guest bedrooms upstairs. As soon as the paint was dry Amy, Paul and Michaela moved in along with their dogs, Spud & Martha and while they are both very friendly, they are kept away from the guest area.
Amy and Paul both work and are parents to Michaela so are very busy but love entertaining and meeting people from all countries. They have traveled around UK and Europe, Australia and the Pacific before settling down in Blenheim where they were both born and bred.
Alasdair & I live in North Canterbury on a lifestyle block but we are very Marlborough orientated having many friends and family there. In fact, I am in Blenheim so often that most people think I live there.
